MKUU is dedicated to transforming communities by empowering the next generation of female creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders.
Vision Statement
A staggering 62% of all girls feel insecure about themselves.
Insecurity leads to self-doubt, unworthiness and, most importantly, missed opportunities for girls to let their intellect and talents shine brightly causing them to make unwise decisions.
We need to provide guidance, learnings and mentoring to bolster girls’ self-esteem, academic and athletic performance, and relationships with family and friends.
MKUU aims to take a wholistic approach to developing our next generation female leaders, inspiring them to lead with confidence and conviction.
In the native language Swahili, MKUU means chief. One of the most important aspects when it comes to females, is to know that we can be head of our lives & leaders in this world. Leading means having the confidence to shine through and the conviction influence, standing together rather than apart.
